Employment Advisor

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Employment Advisor for a local authority in North London.

In this role, you will provide person-centred employment support, helping residents with learning disabilities and complex needs find, secure and sustain paid employment.

Duties:

• Conduct vocational profiling and agree personalised employment action plans.
• Support participants with job searching applications, CVs and interview preparation.
• Develop employer relationships and facilitate job matching, reasonable adjustments and job starts.
• Provide face-to-face in-work support to help participants sustain employment and achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience supporting people into paid employment.
• Experience delivering face-to-face employment support.
• Experience working with employers on recruitment and adjustments.
• Experience supporting people with complex needs or disabilities.

What's on offer:

Salary: £25ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
