Estates Officer (Project Management)

Location: North East England
Rate: £34.31 Per hour
Working pattern: Remote working occasional site visits
Contract: 6 Months ongoing

Spencer Clarke Group are supporting a local authority to appoint an Estates Officer within their Property and Asset Management service.

This role will support the council's estates and property function, covering project management, estate management activity and valuation work, helping to protect the council's position and support strategic priorities.

Responsibilities include
* Providing professional estates and property advice, producing clear recommendations and actions
* Supporting estate and asset management work across the property portfolio including lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews and related matters
* Undertaking valuations in line with RICS standards and supporting asset register updates and reporting requirements
* Supporting strategic acquisitions and disposals, including due diligence and liaison with solicitors and stakeholders
* Project managing multi-disciplinary teams and external partners on property and land projects
* Drafting and contributing to reports and attending internal and external meetings when required

About you
* RICS Member or Associate
* Strong experience across estates and property, including estate management and valuation work
* Experience supporting or leading acquisitions and disposals and managing due diligence activity
* Confident working with multiple stakeholders and delivering to deadlines under pressure
* Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce clear reports
* IT literate with good working knowledge of common office systems
