Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Family Help Practitioner for a local authority in North London.
In this role, you will support families experiencing or at risk of homelessness, helping them navigate housing challenges and access appropriate support to achieve positive outcomes.
Duties:
- Assess families' needs, circumstances and housing situations.
- Provide practical support and advice to families at risk of homelessness.
- Develop support plans and help families access appropriate services and accommodation.
- Manage a caseload, maintain accurate records and participate in the duty rota.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience supporting families or vulnerable individuals facing housing difficulties.
- Experience assessing needs and providing practical, person-centred support.
- Experience working with homelessness, housing services or related support agencies.
- Experience managing caseloads, maintaining records and working with partner services.
What's on offer:
Salary: £21ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
