Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Coordinator for a local authority in North London.
In this role, you will assess homelessness applications, prevent homelessness and support vulnerable customers to secure suitable, sustainable accommodation.
Duties:
- Assess homelessness applications and make statutory decisions.
- Prevent homelessness and secure suitable, affordable accommodation.
- Manage a caseload of vulnerable single homeless customers with complex needs.
- Work with partner agencies, landlords and internal teams to deliver sustainable housing solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in homelessness and homelessness prevention.
- Experience assessing homelessness applications under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996.
- Experience supporting vulnerable customers with complex needs, including prison leavers.
- Experience working with Probation, landlords and partner agencies to secure housing solutions.
What's on offer:
Salary: £28ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
