Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Officer for a local authority in West London.
In this role, you will assess homelessness applications, provide housing advice and work with residents to identify suitable and sustainable housing solutions.
Duties:
- Experience assessing homelessness applications under relevant legislation.
- Experience determining statutory homelessness duties and housing options.
- Experience managing a caseload of complex housing and homelessness cases.
- Experience providing clear housing advice and making evidence-based decisions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience assessing homelessness applications and conducting statutory enquiries.
- Experience applying the Housing Act 1996 and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
- Experience making homelessness decisions and preparing clear decision letters.
- Experience managing complex caseloads and identifying suitable housing solutions.
What's on offer:
Salary: £27ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
