Spencer Clarke Group are currently recruiting for Primary Teachers to work within primary schools across Leyland and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for their next role within primary education. We have opportunities available for teachers looking for both short-term and longer-term positions, including genuine temp-to-perm opportunities.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons while supporting pupils' learning and development.
Your responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils with their learning and development
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Working alongside teaching assistants and support staff
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the wider life of the school

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Previous experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Reliable and professional approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
