Primary Teacher

Spencer Clarke Group are currently recruiting Primary Teachers for a range of schools across Leyland and the surrounding areas.
We have opportunities available for day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term assignments, as well as temp-to-perm opportunities for teachers looking for a potential permanent position.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

• 
  Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum
• 
  Plan and prepare lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
• 
  Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• 
  Assess and monitor pupil progress
• 
  Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning needs
• 
  Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school teams
• 
  Promote positive behaviour and high expectations
• 
  Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development

Requirements

• 
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• 
  Previous experience teaching within a primary school setting
• 
  Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• 
  Excellent classroom management skills
• 
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• 
  Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• 
  A flexible and adaptable approach
• 
  Commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning
• 
  Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

£140 - £240 per day | Leyland & surrounding areas | Flexible supply & temp-to-perm opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
