School Caretakers - Liverpool

Pay: £17.50-£18.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting School Caretakers to work across schools in Liverpool, with immediate starts available.

We have a range of full-time and part-time opportunities, including split shifts and full-day positions, making these roles ideal for candidates looking for flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Opening and securing school premises
• General caretaking and site maintenance duties
• Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance
• Ensuring the school site is safe, clean and well maintained
• Setting up rooms and facilities when required
• Liaising with school staff, contractors and visitors
• Carrying out routine checks of the premises
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the school site

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous caretaking, facilities, maintenance or site experience
• A reliable and proactive approach to work
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure school environment
• Experience working within a school or public-sector environment is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
