School Minibus Driver- D1 Licence/SEN Experience

We are looking for a reliable, caring and experienced School Minibus Driver to join our team and provide safe and supportive transport for our pupils.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting pupils to and from school, as well as supporting transport requirements for school trips and activities. Experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs is essential.

This role can be full-time or part-time depending on the applicant.

Key Requirements

• Full D1 driving licence with the appropriate entitlement to drive a school minibus.
• Previous experience working with children and young people with SEN.
• A current Enhanced DBS registered on the DBS Update Service.
• Excellent driving record and a strong commitment to passenger safety.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Patient, calm and approachable manner.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Understanding of safeguarding and the responsibilities involved when working with children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
