We are currently recruiting for SEND Officers to support our Local Authority client in East of England.
Contract Length: 12 week project initially - View of extension
Pay Rate: £300 per day
Hybrid working - Remote working options available
We're looking for an experienced SEND professional to support an exciting project with our Local Authority client in the East of England, focused on implementing a new needs-led funding model for pupils with EHC Plans .This is a great opportunity for someone with strong SEND knowledge, attention to detail and experience across schools and educational settings to play a key role in supporting this change.
Key responsibilities:
* Review and analyse EHC Plans to identify individual needs and appropriate educational provision
* Assess whether funding allocations accurately reflect the needs and provision outlined within EHC Plans
* Quality assure decisions to ensure they are consistent, evidence-based and aligned with agreed criteria
* Apply strong SEND knowledge when reviewing complex information and making informed decisions
Key requirements:
* Strong knowledge of up to date SEND Legislation
* Minimum 2 years experience within Local Authority SEND
* Ability to work well under pressure and ensure statutory timescales are met
