Senior Project Manager - Family Hubs

My Local Authority client in the Midlands is looking to appoint a talented Senior Project Manager for Children's Services (Family Hubs) on a Contract basis.

The role will lead on the delivery of the Best Start Family Hubs Project.

About the role:

Based in the Midlands (Hybrid - 2-3 days on site):

• Support the ambition to increase the number of children achieving a Good Level of Development at the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Coordinate and drive cross-departmental and multi-agency workstreams involving council services, health partners, education providers, voluntary and community organisations, and families.
• Manage programme governance, including action plans, risk registers, issue logs, dependency management, milestone tracking and reporting.
• Prepare high-quality progress reports, briefings and presentations for Senior Leadership Teams, Councillors, Partnership Boards and the Department for Education (DfE).

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Significant experience leading complex, large-scale programmes for Children's Services, ideally Family Hubs.
• Proven track record of managing complex service transformation and improvement programmes (Prince2 desired)
• Ability to engage with and navigate senior stakeholders, including Elected Members.
• Local Authority experience is essential.

• Salary: £450 per day, inside IR35

• Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
