We are currently recruiting for a Family Support Practitioner to support our Local Authority client in the West Midlands
Contract Length: 3-6 months - with possible extension
Pay Rate: £15.31 per hour PAYE - Negotiable
Hybrid working - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Family Support Worker to join a Children's Services team, supporting children, young people and families to achieve positive and lasting outcomes. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping families overcome challenges and make meaningful changes.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of children, young people and families through Family Help Assessments.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with families and empower them to take ownership of change.
- Develop and deliver Family Help Plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
Key requirements:
- Experience within children's services, family support or a similar role.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and family-focused practice.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
