IDVA Officer - Yorkshire

I'm looking for an adults IDVA Officer to join a Local Authority in Yorkshire on an interim basis.

• £17 per hour PAYE
• Yorkshire
• Hybrid - 3 days onsite
• 3-6 month contract - Highly likely to be extended

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate IDVA Officer to support victims and survivors of domestic abuse, including those at high risk.

You will provide practical and emotional support, help individuals stay safe, and work closely with partner agencies to ensure victims receive the appropriate protection and support.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of high-risk domestic abuse victims
• Complete risk assessments and create safety plans.
• Provide crisis, practical and emotional support.
• Represent victims at MARAC and safeguarding meetings.
• Advocate for victims with police, housing, health, courts and other agencies.
• Support victims through criminal and civil justice processes.
