We are working with a South East Local Authority to find an exceptional Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home, champion a therapeutic approach to care and create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel valued, understood and supported to reach their full potential.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. You will lead a dedicated team through positive culture change, embedding high standards of care, building strong relationships and ensuring that every child receives the individualised support they need to thrive.

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications: A recognised qualification in residential childcare and the management qualification required for registration as a children's home manager, in accordance with applicable regulations and Ofsted requirements.
• Leadership and management experience: Proven experience of leading, managing or supervising staff within residential childcare or a comparable children's social care setting
• Safeguarding: A thorough understanding of safeguarding children, promoting welfare, protecting children's rights and responding effectively to concerns or risks

Duties include:

• Taking overall responsibility for the leadership, management and effective operation of the children's residential home, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, Ofsted requirements and the home's Statement of Purpose.
• Leading and embedding a positive culture of therapeutic, trauma-informed and child-centred care that promotes children's safety, stability, wellbeing and development
