Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Family Support Practitioner for a local authority in East London.
In this role, you will support children with SEND and their families to access appropriate services and ensure their needs are identified and addressed.
Duties:
- Assess the needs of children with SEND and their families.
- Provide advice, guidance and signposting to appropriate services.
- Support families to access the Local Offer and early help services.
- Identify safeguarding concerns and share information with case managers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children, young people and families.
- Experience supporting children with SEND and their families.
- Experience identifying needs and signposting to appropriate services.
- Experience recognising safeguarding concerns and following procedures.
What's on offer:
Salary: £34ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
