Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Rent Recovery Officer for a local authority in Berkshire.
In this role, you will maximise rental income by proactively managing current, former and Temporary Accommodation rent arrears, supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies.
Duties:
- Manage and recover current, former and Temporary Accommodation rent arrears.
- Take appropriate pre-court, court and enforcement action to recover debt.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and support tenants to sustain their tenancies.
- Prepare and present possession cases at County Court where authorised.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in rent/income recovery within a Housing environment.
- Experience recovering current, former and Temporary Accommodation arrears.
- Experience managing complex debt recovery and possession cases.
- Experience preparing court documents and attending County Court proceedings.
What's on offer:
Salary: £23ph+
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 12 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
