About the Role

Are you passionate about inspiring young people and making a difference in secondary education?

Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Preston who are looking for confident and enthusiastic Unqualified Secondary Supply Teachers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable experience within secondary education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.
• Support the learning and development of students across a range of subjects.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain a high standard of education and care.
• Adapt confidently to different school environments and year groups.

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Experience working with children or young people is preferred, but not essential.
• Confidence and enthusiasm when supporting secondary-aged students.
• A genuine interest in education and personal development.
• Flexibility and reliability to cover short-term and long-term placements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
