About the Role

Spencer Clarke Group is currently working with a range of welcoming schools across Blackpool who are looking for Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils in the classroom, helping them to engage with their learning and reach their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other members of staff to provide a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning on a one-to-one and small group basis.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities.
• Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils with their social, emotional and educational development.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils to remain focused and engaged.
• Adapt your support to meet the individual needs of different learners.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to support pupil progress.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with children or young people is preferred, but not essential.
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Confidence working as part of a team and independently when required.
• A genuine interest in education and personal development.
• Flexibility and reliability to support short-term and long-term placements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
