Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Allocations & Lettings Officer for a local authority in Northeast London.
In this role, you will allocate and let accommodation while providing housing advice and support to vulnerable residents.
Duties:
- Allocate permanent and temporary accommodation in line with legislation and Council policies.
- Assess and verify applicants for suitable housing offers.
- Provide housing advice and support to vulnerable residents.
- Manage lettings, refusals, placements and accurate case records.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in housing allocations, lettings or homelessness services.
- Experience working with vulnerable customers and complex cases.
- Experience carrying out assessments, interviews and investigations.
- Experience managing caseloads, records, targets and deadlines.
What's on offer:
Salary: £28ph+
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
