Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Allocations Officer for a local authority in Berkshire.
In this role, you will assess housing applications, determine eligibility and housing need, and allocate social housing.
Duties:
- Assess housing applications and determine eligibility and housing need.
- Manage housing allocations and make fair, lawful decisions.
- Conduct home visits to verify applicants' circumstances and eligibility.
- Maintain accurate records and liaise with internal teams and external agencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience assessing housing applications and customer needs.
- Experience working with vulnerable and challenging customers.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and using databases.
- Experience working with internal teams and external agencies.
What's on offer:
Salary: £25ph+
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
