Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Council Tax Adviser for a local authority in North London.
In this role, you will administer Council Tax, Business Rates and BID Levy accounts, providing an accurate, efficient and customer-focused service.
Duties:
Administer Council Tax, Business Rates and BID Levy accounts accurately and efficiently.
Assess liability, discounts, exemptions and reliefs in line with legislation and council policies.
Provide advice and support to customers and stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service.
Manage recovery and enforcement processes, including refunds, account reviews and court-related work where required.
Qualifications and experience:
Experience of working in a customer service, administrative or revenues environment.
Experience of interpreting policies, procedures and legislation.
Experience of managing accurate records and handling financial information.
Experience of dealing with customers and resolving queries professionally.
What's on offer:
Salary: £21ph+ may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
