Senior Supported Lodgings Support Worker

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Senior Supported Lodgings Support Worker for a local authority in Cardiff.

In this role, you will support vulnerable young people to secure and sustain safe, affordable accommodation while working with landlords, partners, and support services to help them build stable and independent futures.

Duties:

• Support young people to secure and maintain safe, suitable accommodation.
• Build positive relationships with landlords, estate agents, and partner agencies.
• Provide practical, person-centred support, advice, and guidance to vulnerable young people.
• Promote the Housing First approach and help improve access to housing and support services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience supporting vulnerable young people or people facing homelessness.
• Experience working with landlords, housing providers, or partner agencies.
• Experience providing person-centred support and managing challenging situations.
• Knowledge of housing, tenancy sustainment, welfare benefits, or related services.

What's on offer:

Salary: £16ph+

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
