Domestic Abuse Coordinator- South East LA
£18.17 per hour PAYE - Negotiable
3-6 months with the view of extension
Hybrid - 3 days onsite
We are currently seeking an experienced Domestic Abuse Coordinator to join our Local Authority client in the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in domestic abuse, safeguarding, community safety, housing or partnership working who is confident coordinating multi-agency activity and supporting effective governance and performance arrangements
Essential Requirements:
- Knowledge of MARAC processes
- Local authority or statutory partnership experience
- Experience supporting domestic abuse strategies, action plans or commissioned services
Duties include:
- Work closely with key partners including Police, Social Care, Housing, Public Health, Probation and domestic abuse charities
- Coordinate quarterly performance information and reporting
- Monitor progress against the Domestic Abuse Strategy Action Plan
- Prepare reports, updates and performance information for partnership meetings
- Coordinate the council's domestic abuse training programme
