Early years worker

We are currently recruiting for a Early Years Worker to support our Local Authority client in Manchester.

Contract Length: 3-6 months - with possible extension
Pay Rate: £15.31 per hour PAYE - Negotiable

We're looking for enthusiastic, caring and committed Early Years Workers to join our Local Authority clients Early Help & Early Years Service. As part of the multi-disciplinary Family Hub team, you'll work with children aged 0-5 and their families, helping to improve school readiness, promote positive child development and reduce inequalities within our communities.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver fun, engaging and high-quality play and learning activities for young children.
• Support parents and carers to create positive home learning environments.
• Promote children's development, wellbeing and readiness for school.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with families from diverse backgrounds.
• Provide both group and one-to-one support.
• Help families access the right services and support at the right time.

Key requirements:

• Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
• Have experience working with young children and families, including families who may need additional support.
• Have a good understanding of child development and safeguarding.
