Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Officer for a local authority in Southwest London.
In this role, you will work with residents facing homelessness or housing difficulties, providing advice, developing solutions and helping households secure safe, sustainable accommodation.
Duties:
Manage homelessness cases, assessments and housing plans in line with legislation.
Provide advice and practical support to prevent and relieve homelessness.
Work with partners, landlords and agencies to secure suitable accommodation.
Support vulnerable households through effective problem-solving, safeguarding and tenancy sustainment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Experience managing complex cases and delivering housing advice.
Experience working with partner agencies, landlords and support services.
Experience prioritising workloads and achieving service targets.
What's on offer:
Salary: £20ph+ may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
