Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities? Do you have the experience, leadership skills and professional knowledge to support high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans and ensure children and young people receive the support they need to thrive?
We are looking for a knowledgeable, motivated and highly organised Tribunal Officers to support the delivery of an effective, responsive and legally compliant statutory SEND casework service.
Key responsibilities:
- To comply with all relevant council policies, procedures, standards and codes of conduct, including those relating to equality, diversity, inclusion, health and safety, safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection.
- To promote the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people, ensuring that concerns are identified, recorded, reported and escalated in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- To treat children, young people, families, colleagues and partner agencies with dignity, respect and professionalism, promoting equality of opportunity and challenging discrimination.
- To maintain confidentiality and handle personal, sensitive and commercially confidential information appropriately, in accordance with data protection legislation and council requirements.
