Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Leasehold Officer for a local authority in North Yorkshire.
In this role, you will manage leasehold accounts and service charges, support customers with queries and financial difficulties, and ensure charges and arrears are managed accurately.
Duties:
- Manage leasehold, service charge and ground rent accounts.
- Prepare and issue service charge statements and notices.
- Respond to leaseholder queries, complaints and disputes.
- Monitor arrears and take appropriate recovery action.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience managing leasehold, service charge or housing accounts.
- Experience of income collection, arrears and debt recovery.
- Experience supporting customers experiencing financial difficulties.
- Experience working with housing legislation, legal processes and external agencies.
What's on offer:
Salary: £17ph+
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
