Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Outreach and Sustainment Officer for a local authority in East London.
In this role, you will provide trauma-informed outreach and sustainment support to help people experiencing homelessness access services, secure accommodation, and achieve stability.
Duties:
Carry out outreach to engage and support people sleeping rough or at risk of homelessness.
Assess needs, risks, and provide advice, referrals, and practical support.
Support people to access and sustain temporary or permanent accommodation.
Work with partners to deliver safe, coordinated, and person-centred support.
Qualifications and experience:
Experience delivering outreach or support services to people sleeping rough or at risk of homelessness.
Experience assessing support needs, managing risks, and responding to complex situations.
Knowledge of housing options, tenancy sustainment, welfare benefits, and referral pathways.
Experience working collaboratively with health, housing, and specialist support services.
What's on offer:
Salary: £24ph+ may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
