Personal Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a Personal Advisor to support our Local Authority client in the South East.

Contract Length: 3-6 months - with possible extension
Pay Rate: £21.83 per hour PAYE - Negotiable
Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite

As a Personal Advisor, you'll help care-experienced young people aged 16-25 build confidence, achieve their goals and take positive steps towards independent adulthood. This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference in young people's lives, providing practical guidance, emotional support and advocacy as they navigate some of life's biggest challenges and milestones

Key responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of care-experienced young people and developing, reviewing and updating Pathway Plans
• Supporting young people with accommodation, education, employment, training, finances and independent living skills
• Advocating for young people's needs and rights with housing providers, health services and other partner agencies

Key requirements:

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop trust and maintain professional boundaries
• Strong organisation and time-management skills, including the ability to manage a caseload and competing priorities
• The confidence to advocate for young people and work effectively with a range of professionals and agencies
