Personal Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a Personal Advisor support our Local Authority client in the West Midlands.

Contract Length: 3-6 months
Pay Rate: £18.35 per hour
Hybrid working - 2 days per week onsite

We are looking for a committed and experienced Personal Advisor to join our Local Authority client in West Midlands. As a Personal Advisor, you will be a key professional supporting care leavers to make a successful transition into adulthood. You will work alongside young people to help them achieve the goals set out in their Pathway Plan, develop independence and access the services and opportunities they need to thrive

Key responsibilities:

• Help young people develop and achieve their Pathway Plan goals
• Provide practical advice and ongoing support as young people transition into adulthood
• Supporting parents with parenting skills, routines, boundaries and understanding children's needs

Build positive, trusting relationships with care leavers

• Assess needs and contribute to Pathway Plans, reviews and ongoing support

Key requirements:

• Experience supporting young people, care leavers or vulnerable adults
• Experience of assessment, support planning and reviewing outcomes
• Good understanding of safeguarding and young people's welfare
