Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Rent Income Manager for a local authority in Southwest London.
In this role, you will lead and develop an income team, maximising rental income, reducing arrears and supporting residents to sustain their tenancies.
Duties:
- Lead and manage the Income Team, including performance, training and development.
- Oversee rent collection, arrears recovery and legal action.
- Monitor performance, reporting and income collection targets.
- Build partnerships to support tenancy sustainment and maximise income.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience managing and developing staff in a performance-focused environment.
- Experience in social housing, income management or rent arrears recovery.
- Experience managing complex cases and supporting vulnerable residents.
- Experience working with housing legislation, welfare benefits and external partners.
What's on offer:
Salary: £36ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
