School Site Assistant - Addlestone

Pay Rate: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Contract: Temporary Cover

DBS: Enhanced DBS required
We are currently recruiting for a School Site Assistant to provide temporary cover at a school in Addlestone, with an ASAP start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced site assistant, caretaker or maintenance professional looking for a temporary role within a school environment.
The Role
As a School Site Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day running and maintenance of the school site
- Ensuring the school buildings and grounds are safe, clean and well maintained
- Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
- Assisting with setting up rooms and facilities when required
- Monitoring site security and ensuring buildings are secure
- Reporting any maintenance, health and safety or security issues
- Supporting contractors and visitors attending the site
- Carrying out general site and caretaking duties as required
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a school, education, facilities, caretaking or maintenance environment
- Good general maintenance skills
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Strong awareness of health and safety and site security
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A reliable and proactive attitude
- The ability to work independently and respond to issues quickly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
